Established in Queensland in 1988, the company is a member of the Civil Contractors Federation. Brittwood Constructions holds certification with the Department of Transport and Main Roads Queensland at the level R2-B1-F5. The Brittwood Constructions Integrated Management System (IMS) is a risk management tool which incorporates Quality, Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental Management.
The working Directors are Mr Peter Mead and Mr Peter Cuffe. Both are Civil Engineers with in excess of 35 years experience each. Details of each Director’s experience can be viewed on our website under “About Us”.

BSA Licence -
Brittwood Constructions have been successful in obtaining a BSA Licence in the category "Builder - Open" from the Queensland Building Services Authority. Their Director, Peter Mead has also obtained a Nominee Supervisor's Licence.
Having this Licence will allow Brittwood Constructions to tender on a larger variety of work and provides extra safeguards to their clients.
QBuild - Beams Road - Carseldine
Brittwood Constructions have been awarded the contract for Stage B Civilworks for the refurbishment of the old QUT @ Carseldine campus. The work involves new Carparks, Stormwater Drainage, Sewer Reticulation, Access Roads to the main building and a Bio Retention Pond.

Since inception, Brittwood Constructions have completed over 380 civil construction contracts in the South East Queensland area. Story of the Month - New General Manager for Brittwood
In recent years Brittwood Constructions have embarked on a journey to enhance their brand, expand their cliental and modify their company into one which meets the requirements of a professional Mid-Tier Civil Contractor. This journey has seen a significant improvement to their volume of work which in turn has placed stress upon the existing management of the company.
In January 2012 Brittwood Constructions secured the services of Kerry Riordan to become the company’s General Manager. Kerry is a Civil Engineer and has similar years in the Industry to Brittwood's Directors Peter Mead and Peter Cuffe. Kerry has in the past run his own Civil Contracting business and in recent years has worked on a range of large civil projects.
Kerry will take over the day to day running of the projects and as well manage the company reporting to its Directors. We welcome Kerry to Brittwood Constructions and look forward to the improvements he will oversee.
