Established in Queensland in 1988, the company is a member of the Civil Contractors Federation. Brittwood Constructions holds certification with the Department of Transport and Main Roads Queensland at the level R2-B1-F5. The Brittwood Constructions Integrated Management System (IMS) is a risk management tool which incorporates Quality, Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental Management.
The working Directors are Mr Peter Mead and Mr Peter Cuffe. Both are Civil Engineers with in excess of 35 years experience each. Details of each Director’s experience can be viewed on our website under “About Us”.

BSA Licence -
Brittwood Constructions have been successful in obtaining a BSA Licence in the category "Builder - Open" from the Queensland Building Services Authority. Their Director, Peter Mead has also obtained a Nominee Supervisor's Licence.
Having this Licence will allow Brittwood Constructions to tender on a larger variety of work and provides extra safeguards to their clients.
QUT - Boundary Road - Kelvin Grove Campus
Brittwood Constructions have recently been appointed the contract for repair work on Boundary Road at the QUT Kelvin Grove Campus. This repair work consisted of the removal of approximately 1000M² of Bitumen Road and base material. The new work and existing roadway were then resurfaced. Some minor work was also performed to the Kerb & Channel and driveways. The work was performed during the Student holidays

Story of the Month - Taiwan Cup
The Taiwan Cup and Fund Raising Dinner were organized to celebrate the 100th year anniversary for Taiwan.
The Golf event was held at Lakelands Golf Club at Merrimac on the Gold Coast. Brittwood Constructions were a major sponsor for this event and took part in the Golf event and Dinner. Peter Cuffe and Barry Burrows rekindled their interest in golf for the day and invited a couple of clients to accompany them. Everyone enjoyed the golf, the company and had a great day.
The Dinner was held at the Landmark Restaurant in Sunnybank and was a very well organised evening with good food and entertainment. Gordon Hung was the main organizer for this event. He wanted this event to celebrate 100th year anniversary for Taiwan and also fundraise for the Lord Mayor’s Community Trust at the same time. The event raised more than $35,000 for the Lord Mayor’s Community Trust.
